For what seems like since the very beginning of her life Marissa showed an affinity for art. Many people in a network of distant friends and family supported her. Through them, She always seemed to acquire supplies, canvases, art sets, books, and paints.

Marissa's art education began with attending multitudes of art classes through her youth. She loved spending my free time drawing up miniature masters copies of her favorite artists and doodling her favorite cartoon characters. She has always been determined in pursuing a career and education in a creative field.

At high school age, Marissa moved to Jackson Wyoming where she made the honor roll and won the Rotary Club Student of the Month Award in 2009. She participated in Drama, Poetry Acts, One Acts and other performance-related activities. She has always enjoined acting as well as storytelling and creative writing. She excelled in these activities while maintaining a prominent focus on her fine art and painting talents.

After graduating in 2010, she moved to study for her Associates Degree in Riverton Wyoming, at Central Wyoming College. She studied traditional fine art with a focus on realism painting, advanced painting, and art history. Studying the masters, while participating in Native American Cultural Events, and was an active member of GSA Club. Whose focus was on raising awareness and fighting for gay rights in the state of Wyoming. She studied psychology, self-defense, and sat in during the theater class sessions to watch fellow students while sketching. She also gained some professional practice in gallery show settings, presenting, and selling work. In May 2013 Marissa graduated with her Associates in Fine Art as one of two Fine Art Students.

Once moving back to Jackson Wyoming she started working at retail at Simply Mac. Becoming Apple certified in 2014. Although working full time in a retail environment she won the nations top sales consultant award in 2015. Soon after She began her study with the Academy of Art University, Fall of 2015. She spent her first year studying Fine Art with the Academy, gaining a more extensive knowledge of traditional art and design. Soon after she began her study in animation. She now hopes to become a professional, e.

Marissa has always been an ambitious creative talent with a gift for excelling in whatever she tries to do. She has been striving to gain exponential knowledge in the traditional fine art with a new age focus in animation and design. With a passionate creative drive and talent for multitasking, she is a valuable member of any team.
